We used Double Knot twice! Once for our small wedding ceremony in December of 2020, and again for our larger reception in October 2022. Both photographers made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera, got great coverage, and really captured the love we felt on both days. The turnaround was quick, and both sets of phots turned out absolutely gorgeous! We would absolutely use them again if we ever have a need!

Really great company, would highly recommend! We had Adam do our engagement photos in a new area we specifically requested and he came through big time. I was so impressed with the final results. We also had them do the photography and videography for our wedding and it's BEAUTIFUL! We had an unfortunate situation where Adam and the videographer tested positive for Covid the day of our wedding, but he worked his hardest to get us replacements and saved the day! The artists he sent did such a great job and they were so professional and nice the whole night. I am so thankful for those 2 gentlemen for coming last minute AND producing beautiful work. Adam & his team absolutely blew me away. I booked DoubleKnot for my rehearsal dinner and wedding for both Photo & Video. From the minute I met Adam, it was like he was going to take care of us the entire night - which is exactly what you need from a wedding team! After rescheduling our wedding due to COVID, I felt like the DK team was supporting me through all the hurdles, including making me new date work. From making sure my hair wasn’t crazy, to giving me tips on how I was posing, I knew my pictures were going to be stunning. He was totally on board when i wanted to take photos out of the wedding norm, and he made all my visions come to life. From the little details in the family photos like which suit button was buttoned and what leg your weight is shifted on, these photos are going to be the most stunning part of our entire day. His team did absolutely anything for us, even willing to climb into bushes to get the best shot of the details. Take the photos aside for a moment, and this company is a bride’s best friend - - at NO point was I alone in making decisions or worried about the schedule. We are absolutely blown away by double knot pictures. Adam was incredibly amazing to work with. His personality was wonderful, his professionalism immaculate and his talent truly unmatchable. Our wedding video is the best we have ever seen, it was so perfectly put together that even my dream of what I wanted it to turn out like couldn't compare to the actual product we received! I cannot began to say how happy I am that we chose Doubleknot for our wedding photography and videography. Although our wedding was in Dallas, Adam and his team drove up from Austin for our special day. They captured the moments from getting ready all the way to coming back to our house after the wedding reception. BIG fans of Double Knot!! We knew we wanted them to shoot video for our wedding very early on in our vendor search process and boy did they deliver. From the moment we had our phone consult with Adam, we were in good hands. They have upfront pricing and talking with him about what we were looking for felt like talking to a friend. On the day of the wedding, the team was so easy to work with, punctual, and knew just what to capture to make our video so special. They provided light direction throughout the day but spent most of the time silently capturing sweet candid moments between our friends and family and beautiful artistic shots of our details and the venue. Wow!! What an awesome team to work with. We hired Double Knot for our wedding this past April. They were extremely professional and friendly. I’ve shared the pictures and highlight video with my family and friends and they are SO IMPRESSED with how everything turned out. What a wonderful experience!! Kayla took photos for our Brooklyn elopement last year, and we could not be happier with the result. Kayla was warm and friendly, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She was able to capture our true selves in her photos, and the portfolio she delivered have given us tangible memories we will forever cherish (some of our favorite photos are now framed on our mantle at home, a daily reminder of this day). As a bride, Kayla's photos and direction made me feel confident and beautiful, and she somehow always managed to catch my most flattering angles :) my husband looked great too, of course! ;) Most importantly, she was able to capture our laughter and our love on our special day. There's always a lot of pressure to picking out your photographer -- honestly your dress can be so-so, and the flowers can be mediocre, but if you don't have beautiful pictures, you'll only be left with the memories in your head. I can safely say that if you hire Double Knot Pictures, you will be looking over your wedding album with your grandkids someday, and feeling just as happy remembering as you did living your wedding day.

We knew Double Knot from Texas. I had worked with them in the past as a videographer myself. So when it came time to take some pictures in NYC both my wife and I were very comfortable being cradled into their capable hands. And they delivered. They always do. Kayla came up to photograph us walking along some of our favorite neighborhoods in our wedding outfits. We did classic wedding things, like laugh and embrace. We did classic New York City things, like eat processed food from a street vendor and flip off imaginary miscreants. All of these things were captured with a great eye for art and detail, and the pictures we received later on were truly stellar. Add to that the open way Kayla led the session, where she became our companion, our champion. Modeling for her was so easy and comfortable, it's a skill she excels at. And the beautiful images she delivered speak further to her innumerable talents. Seriously, wow. Throughout the mess of working with us and our busy schedules to make a shoot happen, Double Knot was very professional, flexible, understanding, and timely in their communication. They're out to be the best, you can tell. They care. And in a crowded market of memory-makers and storytellers, that can be the difference between taking a chance on someone established or trying your luck with someone who's up and coming. That they have it all together so well seems almost miraculous. And now our memories of that day have a miraculous aura, too.

My wife and I used Double Knot for our wedding, and they were perfect. Super nice, very friendly, and were straight to the point (which is all you can ask for as a groom). I wasn't too stressed on my wedding day, but even if I was, these guys were very relaxed. They know what they're doing since it's not their first rodeo. Adam and Kayla both are super professional, and know how to get it done without being a bother. Seriously, if you just want pictures that look great, without some commandeering photographer, these are the people to go to. And they edited this 60-min video of our wedding that was pretty sweet, so definitely get the video package if you can, it's absolutely worth it.

My wife was extremely nervous about our wedding and I am pretty sure did not sleep for the three months leading up to it. The only real responsibility I was given was choosing a photographer. I met Adam at a Bridal Expo and after having a conversation with him decided to do some due diligence and checked out his website and the portfolios of his photographers. The pictures to me were stunning and my wife agreed. I felt confident with my initial gut reaction after meeting him and booked Double Knot for our wedding based on Adam's easygoing thoughtful nature and the quality of the work they had done previously. Kayla was our photographer and there is not a sweeter more professional person. We barely knew she was there except when she was directing me and trying to actually make me look good which is a task in its own. My wife, who was critiquing everything from the caterers to the single ply toilet paper at the venue, only had good things to say about her. All the deadlines we outlined when I bought the package were met, and my wife and I both thought our personalities (the best parts) were captured perfectly. The highlight video was by far the best part to me and even my friends who would never admit to liking anything as sappy as a wedding highlight video said it was awesome. Thank you Double Knot for making me look competent to my wife. I just cannot speak highly enough about the professional manner Adam and his team exude, and the personal touch they bring to their work. They are true artists and saviors of this fiance now husband.

I would like to thank Kayla and Double Knot Pictures, whom we hired as our Photographer for our Golden anniversary on January 2 . She worked hard from start to finish of the celebration. When we receive the pictures, I cried! My favorite was the big group picture she got of me, and my husband and ALL 10 of our grandkids who travel from all over the country to surprise us. And the pic of my son dancing with his husband was very sweet. These are memories we will cherish and always remember...Thank you .

Kayla was our photographer for the big day. She is very professional and a sweetheart. She made sure that my hair was in place and everyone looked great for the pictures. She made us feel so comfortable while taking the photos. I’m not a very photogenic type of person and honestly don’t like my picture taken, but she made me feel so relaxed and natural. She captured us being silly at times, which added who we are as a couple. She had so many great ideas on how to capture such perfect pictures. The turn around time was a lot sooner than I excpected. It goes to show what a hard working, dedicated, and loving person Kayla is. Her work shows it. If anyone out there is looking for that special, caring photographer, Kayla and her team is it!!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I hired Double Knot after meeting them at an Austin bridal show last January. After visiting their website and combing through beautiful wedding after wedding, I met Adam and Kayla in person at their studio where they work to see if they'd be a good fit for our day. They were a dream to work with even from the beginning. My husband and I were skeptical about spending a lot on photo and video but we are so happy we did. They put our video to songs we both love and captured so many moments we didn't even get to see on the day. My family and I have probably watched it 50 times now and I can't wait to relive the day through that video as we both get older. Kayla was our main photographer and she was so polite and professional and made everyone feel confident and beautiful. She was able to get such natural expressions on everyone's faces and you can really feel the motion of the dancing from the dance floor photos. The photos turned out perfect after I requested some edits (I asked if I could get a scar on my arm that i'm kinda weird about removed from the photos) and they turned my new album (no scar!) around in a week. They even went back into the raw photos to get us more group shots with different expressions even when they already went above the number of photos they told me to expect from the package I purchased. They were so understanding and professional about every change we requested and I am over the moon happy with the final result. This is seriously a gem of a team and I still can't believe I lucked out into finding them. THANK YOU, AGAIN! I LOVE MY PHOTOS!

I Hired Adam for my wedding this March 2018. I let Adam know how my now Husband and I would need a lot of guidance on how to pose and what to do the day of our wedding. The big day came and during our wedding I remember thinking "wow we must be naturals because they are not giving us any direction". It breaks my heart to say that I could not be more wrong. They didn't even tell me when my straps were showing from my dress, when my legs were crossed and you could see more than I wanted to show, when my veil was in an awkward position. They didn't tell me once to fix anything! When we got back our footage there were so many things wrong off the bat but I tried to stay positive until we received ALL footage from Adam. It took several emails and texts for him and his team to even get my highlight video down which he finally did over a week later and it turned out great. However, everything else was horrible. Adam and his team missed SO many VERY important moments from our wedding. For instance, they did not get any pictures of my husband kissing me during our first kiss after "I do" when I asked Adam why he his team missed that he stated that it wasn't at a standard time in a wedding so his team wasn't ready. Last time I checked kissing after you are pronounced husband and wife and the officiant says "you may now kiss the bride" its pretty "standard" to kiss. Not only did they miss that but they missed almost every single detail from my wedding and if you are planning a wedding or have planned a wedding you know how much time and effort it takes getting all the little details to come together and to have all that missed is heartbreaking. I also bought matching socks for all of the men in the wedding including the groomsmen, ring bearers, our fathers and my brothers which I mentioned to him at our first meeting was SO important to me for him to get that photo of all the most important men in my life all together with their socks in one photo. They in fact did NOT get that photo when he assured me that he would even if it meant being stern with the guys to get it. When I confronted Adam he said that his photographer asked the groomsmen (didn't ask my brothers, their sons, or our fathers) and ONE groomsmen said he didn't want to, so they didn't. When I asked all the groomsmen if that happened they all stated that no one refused and when I told Adam that he simply called me a liar and said that his photographer had no reason to lie to him. The moment that I am most upset about is that they missed my husband when he was taking off my garter. I have never seen my husband do something like that, and it was the most amazing thing to watch and they missed it ALL the videographer was instead just filming the crowd and Adam said it caught them by surprise so they weren't able to get their cameras on him in time. I will NEVER be able to witness that moment EVER again. Also we paid $300 extra for drone coverage that broke during our wedding and the only reason I wanted the drone was to get our guests dancing which it broke before then. I completely understand technology sometimes malfunctions but he didn't get any other worthy footage from the drone and simply said he would give me $100 refund and didn't care what I had to say after that which I refused to take because it felt like a slap in the face.Needless to say Adam and his team are not professional, they are rude and they do not care about your wants from your wedding.

Adam, Kayla, and the rest of the crew were FANTASTIC from our engagement shoot, communication, response time, and of course the Big Day! We got the Combo Supreme package to get the best deal on all media for our wedding and it did not disappoint. The price was ideal for what we got and the coverage was exceptional. The pictures and video are outstanding. On the day, I noticed them when needed -- for posed photos and if I had any questions. Otherwise, they blended into the crowd to make themselves as unobtrusive as possible. Vibrant colors and natural moments were captured flawlessly. You can see everyone's emotions seep through the lens! I am so thrilled with the work and recommend Double Knot to everyone for photos and video!

Adam Brandenburg and his crew are first rate photographers and videographers. They perfectly captured the memory of our daughter's wedding. We have watched the video and documentary over and over and poured through all the beautiful pictures. We have laughed and cried and relived that day through very professional eyes. Adam and Kayla are so wonderful! I want them to document my life!! I found them through a friend, and immediately Adam responded asking me questions about my style and my day. He really gets weddings and all the work that goes into managing all the hiccups before they happen. They even have this great studio where I was able to meet the team (and their puppy!) before we booked and see where they edit. I think they said they work on narrative films, too, so they always keep their equipment updated. After I booked, he worked with my planner on timelines and sent us checkins so we felt very prepared and confident. They also made having a camera pointed at you feel totally comfortable by being helpful with poses and friendly with all the guests. They have this knack for capturing these little glances and special moments that I never would have seen! I love how classy and real all our media feels. THANKS, DKP TEAM!!! :)

Adam etc. were helpful and informative and reassuring throughout the entire process - from "interviewing" them to my bridal portraits to receiving our wedding video - we continued to be impressed. Kayla captured my bridal portraits on a day when I was feeling pretty sick and crappy and those photos are stunning! I give her most of the credit. And we used Adam for our videographer on our wedding day. My husband and I felt all of the day-of emotion over again as we re-lived the best day of our lives. Adam was patient, easy-going, attentive and also funny and reassuring. His creativity shined through our video, and we are so excited to re-watch this on anniversaries in the future. I am a wedding coordinator and I have worked with Double Knot many many times at my wedding venues and they have always been great to work with so responsive , professional and just kind good people !!! I just recently had them at my own wedding for photography and videography and they were amazing ! I prefer more candid shots then posed and they captured everything I wanted and were not intrusive at all which is important . In looking over the photos they captured so much joy and real emotions and their work painted the perfect picture of everything that embodied our wedding !! These guys are professional and sweet and really quick on turn around ! I have looked over my pictures and watched the video a thousand times and can not do anything but just smile from ear to ear . Their attention to details was perfect and allowed us to enjoy some of the special moments we missed on our wedding day. Looking back, I would have scheduled and made time for a bridal session the day of our wedding, and probably picked a different package that included more editing. I couldn't possibly recommend these guys more to anyone getting married. In fact, I find myself constantly telling people about how great they are. As someone who works in the film industry, I was a bit picky when it came to deciding who would capture my big day, but I couldn't be happier with what Double Knot delivered to me. The pictures were beautiful and covered every aspect of my wedding. I was told by many people who couldn't attend that the pictures made them feel like they were really there. The highlight reel was everything I could ever want in a video and more. It was amazingly edited and beautifully captured all the memories from that day that I cherish the most. The documentary cut was also great and gave me a way to truly relive the big day. Adam, Kayla and the rest of the team were very professional, reliable, and attentive to my specific requests. They're a great group of people who will get the job done better than you could've imagined. I find myself constantly watching the videos just to relive all the emotions and excitement of my wedding again and again. There may be a day in the future when I'm not watching the highlight video over and over again, but it's not coming any time soon.
